His parents brought him aboard an Aberg 30 out of Back Creek in Annapolis, Maryland. At the age of 6, he launched his racing career that lead into his 20’s. In 1981, his family purchased a Tartan 37 and his racing/cruising elevated to the West River Maryland arena. During the span of 21 years, Eric has covered the entire Bay area as a highly competitive youth sailor including 10’s of thousands of miles cruising the Bay and the East Coast of the U.S. as well.

Eric began his sailing path at only six months of age back in 1967. His parents brought him aboard an Aberg 30 out of Back Creek in Annapolis, Maryland. During a hiatus with family and a Management Career starting in 1992, he returned to high level International racing both offshore and inshore in 2006 when he went professional while working for Doyle Sailmakers out of Annapolis Md. He continues his racing and cruising sailing adventure to this day on both big Boat and small boat ventures. Born in DC, raised in Northern VA and Annapolis Md, Eric is remarkably familiar with the area and has expertise both on and off the water.

With a career change recently, he brought his knowledge base to the Catamaran Company as a Yacht Broker and will be available full time to serve slip owners, new and established clientele and all new sailing and boating enthusiast.
