2004 Lagoon 380
"Blue Moon Of Amble "
The original owner of "Blue Moon Of Amble" installed the Z Spar furling mast system. This was an option not offered by Lagoon and therefore the boat was originally delivered to the UK dealer with the standard mast and rig, which was removed, and the furling mast was installed before the owner took delivery. The owner wanted to really minimize the effort required to go sailing. The ease of putting out the mainsail, bringing it in or reefing it is a great benefit for those who are happy to trade a little speed for ease of use.
After some cruising around the UK coast she was then shipped to Antigua on a cargo vessel where the owner lightly sailed her back & forth between Antigua and Grenada for a few years. He then had some medical issues and had to go back to UK for treatment. ''Blue Moon'' then sat for a while in a marina in Grenada before its current owner purchased her in 2015. Having done the transatlantic crossing on a ship and only been sailed in the Eastern Caribbean the vessel has covered much fewer miles than most vessels of similar age.
Recent haul out in mid 2018 saw her sail drive seals changed, and new bottom paint. The Life raft has just been serviced. The roller furling mechanism has just been replaced and this boat is ready to sail.
The vessel comes with all the original documentation and manuals.
