COVID-19 Policy

At The Catamaran Company we take our responsibility of informing our clients about our daily operations regarding the safety of our guests very seriously. We continue to monitor events closely to determine if our owners, clients, or business might be impacted. We have been monitoring the Coronavirus since early January and continue to review all daily reports posted by the CDC and WHO to try to make the best decisions possible for our owners and guests.

If you would like to reschedule your charter within the calendar of 2020-December 2021, we will honor this request with the following terms:

  • BVI boarders are closed due to Covid-19 restrictions
  • if your charter starts within 30 days of your reschedule request
  • if your payment is in good standing with your charter agreement

This being stated if you have booked directly with The Catamaran Company out of our base at Hodges creek Marina and you decide to reschedule, you will need to pay the difference If the booking is more expensive. If the new booking is less, a refund will not be given. Rescheduling is based on availability and if no availability then no refund will be given.

To qualify to rebook with no fee, you may bring your account to current before rescheduling or a postponement fee will apply

If you have booked a charter with another company, but through The Catamaran Company, please contact us. (We are obligated by contract terms of the other company you have booked with)

To help ensure your safety and protection as well as our staff on Tortola, we are taking extra steps and precautions with regards to cleaning and sanitizing our catamarans and work locations.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel 90 days or more prior to charter departure and a fee of $599 will apply: 60 to 89 days before departure and 50% deposit is lost; and if a charter is cancelled 59 days or less there is no refund given.

We would like to advise you to review the information noted in our booking process regarding travel protection. Please do your due diligence and check with your credit card company to understand their travel protection terms. If you’ve purchased travel protection when you booked your charter, you may want to familiarize yourself with their policies as well. Please remember that we manage all of these vessels on behalf of individual owners who are also facing the same issues as the rest of us, so we are required to honor their contracts also.
