Originally commissioned as the personal yacht of the West Coast Lagoon dealer (Naos Yachts), Clapotis was never chartered and lightly used seasonally between California and Mexico. In 2019, the current owners purchased her in Marina del Rey, California, and brought her to their homeport in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, where she has been used for 6–7 short cruising trips per year.
She has never been lived aboard, remains clean and odor-free, and shows pride of ownership throughout.
This vessel benefits from full-time oversight by a licensed local skipper, following a comprehensive care routine:
Washed weekly, polished and waxed on a rotating 90-day cycle
Bottom cleaned monthly by diver — minimal growth, zincs show little wear
Engine rooms and bilges cleaned and inspected regularly
All systems kept spotless, rust-free, and up-to-date on maintenance
Lagoon bulkhead reinforcement kit installed & certified (certificate included)
NEW Tri-Radial Cut Dacron Mainsail & Genoa (2025 – on order, included in sale)
Also includes Incidences Gennaker and Asymmetrical Spinnaker
4 total sails, all Dyneema running rigging
Folding props for efficient motoring
Typically cruises at 6 knots under one engine at 2,200 RPM (1 GPH burn)
Alternating engines extends range and balances wear
Salon Seating Upgrade (2023): High-density foam, extended cushions — perfect for lounging or off-watch sleep
Tenderlift Hydraulic Platform – makes dinghy launch & retrieval effortless
Expanded Deck Space: Platform doubles as a large swim platform
Three Cockpit Enclosures:
Full Sunbrella (winter)
Mesh (summer)
Full flybridge enclosure (for cold or night passages)
Foredeck Sunshade Awning – great for sundowners or lounging at anchor
Starlink Internet – mounted in place of former satellite dome, highly reliable
Fusion Marine Audio + JBL Amp – 3-zone, 8-speaker sound system
B&G Navigation Suite – with flybridge remote control
Port Alternator/Blower Circuit: Original factory circuit was intermittently failing. Issue was resolved with a new helm-controlled relay circuit. Functionality is now flawless.
