BRAND NEW LISTING

Just completed new epoxy bottom and waiting on application of bottom paint.

The 1991 Morgan 45 Center Cockpit is a proven bluewater cruiser with the comfort, space, and sailing ability that has made the Morgan name a favorite among serious sailors. This particular yacht is in very good condition and stands ready to sail away today. With her roomy center cockpit layout, generous accommodations below, and solid construction, she offers both safety at sea and comfort at anchor. Whether you’re planning extended cruising, liveaboard life, or coastal adventures, this Morgan 45 CC is well-equipped and prepared to go.

Milagro has been a well-known boat around these parts of Panama for many years, after being brought down from Florida by her second owner. Her third owner now offers her for sale to the next caretaker. She’s well equipped, sound, and lovingly maintained.

GENERAL LAYOUT

The aft cabin has a center queen bed with a six-inch mattress, its own ensuite including a bath, a wood floor grate, air conditioning, a TV, and a separate sink and dressing table.

There is a maintenance area and workbench centered in the passage to the aft quarters with tool storage cupboards outboard on the port side. Engine access is under the steps and from the port side.

The saloon has a rosewood table with bench seats to starboard and port and storage under the seats. The salon table is at midships aft of the compression post.

The galley is U-shaped to starboard, allowing ample space for two people to cook and serve.

The head and V-berth are forward.

There is ample storage in cupboards and under the floor. Floors are covered with high-density black floor matting for comfort and protection of the teak-and-holly sole.

GENERAL CONDITION

The hull has no blisters and the topside gelcoat is in good condition.

The deck was painted in 2024 with high-quality automotive and Kiwi Grip paint.

There is some wear to the cabin sole in the saloon.

The upholstery is in reasonable condition.

All opening portlights were replaced in 2024 and have reflective shading foil, and the opening hatches are in good condition with no leaks.

ELECTRICAL

The electrical systems have been updated in recent years and are reported to be in good working order.

NAVIGATION & ELECTRONICS

Navigation and electronics have been modernized and include contemporary communications and charting equipment appropriate for extended cruising.

RIGGING

The standing and running rigging are serviceable; standing rigging was replaced to the chainplates in 2010 and the running rigging is in good to fair condition.

WATERMAKER

A watermaker is installed and the membranes were renewed in 2023.

FUEL TANKS

The yacht has a main diesel tank under the salon floor that was renewed in 2023, plus additional storage tanks under the settees.

WATER TANK

A water tank is installed under the V-berth.

SAILS

The sails are in good condition, with a relatively new main and a furling genoa.

ANCHORS

Anchoring gear is aboard, with primary and secondary anchors and appropriate rode and chain.

WINDLASS

An electric windlass is installed with controls at deck and helm.

HOT WATER TANK

Hot water is engine heated only.

MAIN SALON

The companionway is at midships with four steps in cherry and stainless. Black floor matting covers the teak-and-holly sole and is in fair to good condition. The galley is to starboard aft, and settees are to port and starboard. A beautiful cherry wood table with folding sides is in storage and in impeccable condition. There is a central storage box. The guest cabin is forward and the main head is to port. The nav desk workspace is on the port side aft of the settee at midships. There is a work station in the walkthrough to the aft cabin with engine access and tool storage.

GALLEY AND REFRIGERATION

The galley has a three-burner gimbaled propane stove, refrigeration with keel coolers, and a freezer. The fridge and freezer have different opening arrangements. Cold water at the galley sink supplies refrigerated water, and there is a watermaker test faucet at the sink. The sink has dual deep stainless basins and ample storage, including a fold-out liquor cabinet. A fan is installed at the sink.

AFT CABIN

The aft cabin has a centerline queen berth with access and hanging lockers to port. There is a beauty counter with mirror and lift-up vanity. Engine access is available from this room, and there is storage under the bed with through-hulls. A washing machine is installed to starboard along with a wash-up sink. The head forward to starboard has an RV-size tub with glass doors and storage shelves. Fans are mounted at the head of the bed.

HEADS

Both the forward and aft heads have quality toilets, showers, teak floor grating, sinks, and storage cabinets. Both heads have shower sumps with pumps, and the forward head has dual door access from the saloon and V-berth.

DECK LAYOUT

The center cockpit has a custom fiberglass top with recessed pot lights and new clear vinyl and blue Sunbrella side curtains all around. Sunbrella clip-on sun shades are available. There are cockpit cushions, hot and cold water at the swim platform, a saltwater deck wash at the bow, dinghy davits with an outboard lift, and storage boxes on the aft deck.
