Powered by a single 27HP inboard Mitsubishi/Westerbeke Diesel engine located in the center of the cockpit. The steerable Sillette Marine Drive leg is connected to the rudders giving the ability to direct engine thrust. The drive leg can be hydraulically pumped up out of the water so there is no drag from the prop under sail and avoiding growth and corrosion to the drive leg when not in use.
Using two sets of lines, the rudders can be raised or lowered. A solid 1 1/2" stainless steel post that runs through the middle of each rudder helps to make it exceptionally strong. The rudders are very well balanced and automatically kick up if they hit the bottom. They are mechanically joined through the steering system and will steer the boat in 3' or 18". The Gemini steering is precise, balanced, and easy and exhibits little to no weather helm.

The Gemini's 14' beam allows you to dock in a standard monohull slip or be trucked across the country. The proven design has seen improvements throughout the years. Her interior is warm, open, light and airy.
The hulls of the Gemini 105Mc are shallow and shaped much like a "teardrop" which requires little force to move the 105Mc through the water while still allowing a high load carrying capacity and offer a performing, safe, stable platform.
The bridge deck has 39" of clearance at the bow. This, combined with the lack of pitching and wave making, translates to a comfortable ride with no heeling.
The entire hull mold is one complete unit including the centerboard cases. This single unit eliminates any secondary bonding down the keel, at the bridge deck or around the centerboard cases making for a rigid, faster, stronger, and more stable platform that provides excellent sailing performance.
The lift-able asymmetrical centerboards provide plenty of 'grip' while going to windward yet are easily retractable. Sailing downwind, the boards are raised, thus minimizing drag and maximizing performance.
The boards are molded with closed cell foam, which ensures they will last a lifetime. Each centerboard case has a Plexiglas cover enabling the operator to see whether they are up or down. Centerboards are operated from inside and will easily kick up if the boat is grounded.
The boards extend 5' 6" in the down position and 18" when up.
