This particular vessel has many different features than the typical production models such as the stern configuration with the upsized davits, bolted on steps, ladder and folding swim platform which allows for even more interior storage than similar models.
This vessel has been built for long term cruising and is set up for easy single-handed sailing, control is easily accessible at the helm. S/V Rainbow’s End holds 240 gallons of fresh water in 2 tanks, and 200 gallons of diesel in 6 built-in tanks. She is equipped with 560 watts of solar and 2 SW Windpower wind generators, 26amps each, an Aims power inverter for 110v and 220v. There is also a Kohler 13 kW 3-cylinder diesel generator with only testing hours on it. This vessel has been set up with both 110v and 230v outlets throughout and the ability to plug in both 30-amp and 50-amp shore power.
