The Beneteau 393 has many features that make it a really popular cruising vessel. The walk-through transom and swim platform allow easy access to and from the dinghy and the water. Wide side decks allow quick movement to the foredeck when necessary, but with all lines leading to the cockpit this is a rare occurrence. The large, uncluttered cockpit is ideal for lounging or entertaining. The interior is extremely liveable with a forward head and sleeping cabin with Pullman berth and a second head and cabin aft. The well-appointed galley has enormous refrigeration capacity as well as stove and induction. The salon table can be lowered to form a third double berth and the credenza on the starboard side of the salon provides extensive storage, unusual in a boat of this size.
Heron has a 6’3″ draft and an inner forestay with a jib, which, along with the genoa, allows for excellent performance at any point of sail.
The owners of Heron are the third owners. They bought Heron in 2018 and sailed from the Netherlands to the Caribbean, where they cruised for several years before coming to the USA. They spent most of their time at anchor, so the boat is totally set up for self-sufficiency. Over time they have upgraded the electrical system. The boat is a 220V boat; it can be plugged into 110V pedestals, but it is not necessary as the solar panels and wind generator keep the lithium batteries charged. There is enough power to cook with the induction.
The owners have actively used and maintained Heron, and she was hauled in mid-November. This boat is ready to take you to the places of your dreams.
