Resilience, our fine Tropical Dream Machine, currently cruising in the northeastern Caribbean, homeported in St. Maarten, is a Canadian-registered, never-chartered, well-equipped and updated 2014 Oceanis 48.
She was purchased in Turkey by her present owners and recently sailed across the Atlantic to the eastern Caribbean, attesting to her offshore capabilities. The owners report an incident-free, reliable passage.
Interested parties will find her deck layout provides a predominantly outdoor sailing experience, with wide catwalks on deck and forward and more than adequate cockpit bimini canvas to provide sheltered respite from the sun, an all-important element to consider in Caribbean cruising. Her ample “breeze at anchorage” ventilation below decks limits the need for her central air-conditioning system.
