Overview
Octopedes has a desirable master suite forward with an en-suite head and sail locker, and a large salon with a linear galley. Aft are the port and starboard guest cabins with a custom navigation station to port and a guest head to starboard.
Her striking interior is finished in cherry wood paneling with white leather upholstery for contrast. Overhead and side lighting from multiple opening hatches and portlights create a bright, spacious feel. This boat offers accommodations in three double cabins and two separate heads. The salon and cockpit are large and can accommodate a full crew.
This is one of those boats whose fiberglass was hand laid, and you can see the quality and care she received from her owners.
Fore Peak
There is a sail locker with anchor chain storage in the forward area, followed by a watertight bulkhead, and access to the forward head.
Accommodations
The master suite forward includes a double berth, ample storage, seating, and en-suite head. The port and starboard guest cabins each provide double berths and storage space, offering comfortable sleeping accommodations for crew or guests.
Heads
There are two heads: one forward with access to the sail locker through the bulkhead and a shower arrangement, and an aft head with sink and cabinetry.
Galley
The linear galley occupies the port side of the salon and offers ample counter space and storage, designed to support both cruising and passagemaking.
Sails
She is a fractionally rigged sloop with lines led to the cockpit for ease of handling. The boat does need a new mainsail.
Rigging
The rigging was updated in 2009, and the spar and rigging work reflects attention to structural integrity and sail handling performance.
Cockpit
The cockpit is spacious and practical, with a walk-through transom and generous storage in multiple lazarette lockers, designed for comfortable crew operation and the demands of racing or cruising.
