Introducing S/V Promise, this 1971 Alberg 37 ketch was designed by the renowned Carl Alberg and built by Whitby Boat Works Ltd. in Canada. These classic vessels were first launched in 1967 and produced until 1988, with a total of 248 units constructed. The Alberg 37 is known for its solid fiberglass construction, making it ideal for offshore voyages and circumnavigation adventures. Recognized as number three on Practical Sailor’s prestigious list of the five best classic sailboats, this vessel is a sailor’s dream come true and is in excellent condition.
This vessel offers a cozy two-cabin layout with one head that includes a shower and sump pump. The v-berth sleeps two in the double berth and the folding settee in the main cabin can be used as a single berth. The dinette table folds down to create another double berth.
