The high-speed passenger ferry built by Fjellstrand in Norway in 1983 was a pioneering vessel known for its high speeds and innovative design.
Fjellstrand are experts in constructing fast ferries that are utilized worldwide for commuter routes and island connections, these ferries epitomized Norwegian craftsmanship and engineering excellence.
Jaden Sun formerly Lauparen operated in Alesund, Norway before she was purchased in 2010.
Since then she has operated :
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines August, 2010 to November, 2016
- Montserrat and Antigua – December 2016 to October 2020
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines November, 2020 to present
