Engine with remote cockpit control and electric start and engine lift. Comes with a 6 gallon fuel tank stored in the stern locker. Engine tiller is linked with boat rudderpost for excellent steerage in forward and reverse. Has quick release pin.
Rudder can be lifted or lowered by control lines at the aft cockpit.
Main: 239 sq foot full batten sail with 2 reef points. , jib, extendable bow with second roller furler for screecher sail (387 square feet). Has adjustable backstay. When first acquired upgrades made included new boom, new jib roller furler, and bow pulpit added.
Major restructuring done on the amas following evidence of leakage; Jim Antrim redesign to add strength to the folding ama system to be able to handle the stresses of sailing in San Francisco Bay. This restructuring has made this manufactured boat into a unique design for enhanced performance without adding weight. All deck/hull seams were removed and fiberglassed, connections to ama folding mechanism were reinforced.
This is a cruising/racing trimaran. The amas fold back in a unique design, which can be done while underway. The mast can be dropped with a unique force transfer system using one control line to raise and lower.
