Presenting SV Jubilee, an extremely well maintained 1999 Voyage 500 catamaran, built in South Africa and regarded as one of the most reliable and comfortable cruising platforms in her class. Jubilee is a two-owner vessel with comprehensive documentation since new, has never been chartered, and is fully imported into the United States—USCG documented and taxes paid. Over the years, she has benefited from continuous upgrades and professional care, including a major refit in 2014 and a series of significant improvements in the past several years.
Recent enhancements include the addition of 1400W of solar panels paired with a full Victron electrical system and a robust 3000W inverter, ensuring reliable power autonomy. The hull has been fully stripped, protected with a new barrier coat, and boasts recent bottom paint along with new saildrive seals completed in spring 2025. Both VHF antennas have been replaced, new AIS transponder and boat monitor system 2025, and all battery banks upgraded to AGM for optimal energy storage and safety. Jubilee is powered by twin Yanmar 4JH4-TE 75hp turbo diesel engines with only currently 1450 hours and SD60 saildrives, complemented by a dependable 10kW generator (2,400 hours).
Step aboard and experience a bright, immaculate interior with over 6 feet of headroom. The galley is exceptionally well-equipped, designed to accommodate multiple crew with ample refrigeration, a convenient breakfast bar, and even an ice maker. Jubilee offers a flexible layout with three spacious cabins, each featuring en suite wet heads, and a fourth cabin—currently configured for tool and spare storage, but easily convertible back to guest accommodation—served by an additional head nearby. For enhanced onboard utility, a Type #1 MSD Purasan waste purification system is installed. For an older catamaran she shows very well, is structurally and mechanically in very good condition. Her paint shows some signs of age but waxes up nicely.
The cockpit is fully enclosed for protection and comfort, and the raised helm provides outstanding visibility of all corners of the yacht—a crucial safety feature for offshore passage-making. All sail controls lead back to a combination of electric and manual winches for efficient and safe sail handling. A recent interior upgrade included new skylights and a refinished cockpit table, enhancing both ambiance and functionality.
Measuring 50 feet in length with a generous 27.5-foot beam, Jubilee offers exceptional stability, a smooth ride, and an outstanding blend of comfort and sailing performance—hallmarks of the renowned Voyage 500 model. Ready to make the fall passage from Annapolis to southern locations, she is actively used, always maintained, and truly turnkey for her next owner. Extensive additional details and photographs are available upon request. More images coming soon—contact us for a comprehensive listing and to see for yourself why Jubilee stands out among Voyage 500 catamarans.
!!After November 1st, Jubilee will be available for showings in Canaveral Fl where I’ll be doing routine maintenance and upgrades.!!!
