MOTIVATED SELLER!!

Introducing Panta Rhei, the Richard Roake 50′ custom sailing catamaran, built by W.A. Guenter Boatbuilding in Nova Scotia, Canada and launched in 2012 (the hull was launched in 2000 and the rest of the boat was completed and launched in 2012). This unique vessel stands out for its robust cored composite build using epoxy infused under vacuum. Designed for both performance and comfort, this catamaran has proven reliable for offshore cruising adventures, making it the perfect choice for sailing enthusiasts looking for a dependable vessel at a budget-friendly price.

Since 2014, Panta Rhei has been cruised full time throughout the Bahamas, between the Bahamas and Nova Scotia, and in the Caribbean by the original and only owners. Throughout their journeys, this catamaran has showcased her remarkable seakeeping abilities, impressive speed potential, and ease of handling under sail, proving to be a trustworthy vessel in diverse conditions. The retractable rudders and daggerboards along with the shallow water lee board allow access to waters that most 50′ boats would never enter.

Each hull has three watertight compartments and each compartment has its own access hatch. There is a collision bulkhead in each bow. The hulls are used for tankage, vessel systems, and ample storage. A carbon fiber daggerboard is fitted into each hull within a watertight trunk. Netting between the hulls and between the hulls and cabin is vinyl-coated polyester. There is a solid platform aft of the cockpit which supports a dinghy and its rack while underway and provides a pleasant back porch at anchor. Canvas privacy curtains make this a perfect location for showers.

All accommodation is within a central cabin located between the two beams. The cabin is a watertight entity separate from, but supported between, the two hulls. The cabin door and all hatches have gaskets and can be dogged. The cabin bottom is radiused, which reduces pounding significantly.

The cabin interior is comfortable and well thought out with standing headroom (6’3″) upon entering from the cockpit to the single head, communications area, chart table, and galley. There is seating for four on bench settees at a folding dinette table which is track-mounted and can be moved to either side, allowing clear access to the thwartship double berth. There is sitting headroom on the berth. A single pilot berth with a foot tunnel is located behind each of the salon settees. The galley is functional and well arranged. Storage in the cabin is adequate but without traditional cabinetry.

Panta Rhei is perfectly suited for individuals or a couple who value a sailing experience that melds comfort with the excitement of speed and safe navigation. Over the past couple of months a few issues have arisen. She requires work before setting off on her next adventure, and for health reasons the owners have opted to leave that for her new owners. Her unique features and robust construction present a fantastic opportunity for the right buyer who is willing to invest in her potential.

S/V Panta Rhei is currently in the Rio Dulce, Guatemala, at a marina. Her owners are highly motivated to sell and are open to negotiating a fair price. They wish to see Panta Rhei in the hands of a passionate sailor who will truly appreciate her craftsmanship and capabilities on the water and sail her off into more adventures.
