Company disclaimer and offer conditions: details offered in good faith; buyer to verify; vessel offered subject to prior sale, price change or withdrawal without notice
The Outremer yard built just 35 units of this very elegant, performance cruiser designed by VPLP. CYAN is one of the very last hulls built (hull #33) of this semi-custom cat and the most recent vintage available on the market today.
The Outremer 5X has been the choice of celebrated Volvo Ocean Race and Vendée Globe skippers and experienced blue-water cruisers alike. CYAN was built for a yachting professional who also resides near the Outremer yard. This allowed the owner to cultivate a very close relationship with the design team leading up to the construction of the yacht and to oversee the actual construction on a daily basis. The specification and equipment choices were made in close consultation with the staff who built CYAN. The owner did not build a cat to win regattas, but a well-balanced cat optimized for fast, safe ocean passages. All up, this may very well be the best Outremer 5X ever built.
CYAN is a proven, blue-water cat that has been sailed to French Polynesia and back to the Caribbean by a live-aboard family of four. In this time, the equipment choices have been validated and improved where necessary. The yacht presents beautifully today and is turnkey and ready to continue the adventure. She is a rare 4-cabin/2-head version and can therefore accommodate a family very comfortably.
Please review the detailed specification attached. Contact us to arrange a viewing of this unique cat presently moored in Saint Martin, French West Indies.
