Boat Description

The Endeavor Manta 40 is a renowned bluewater catamaran, expertly engineered with integral keels and robust water-tight collision bulkheads to provide unmatched safety and performance at sea. Specifically designed for couples and single-handed sailors, the Manta 40 offers excellent maneuverability, a spacious layout, and practical features that make extended cruising both comfortable and efficient.

“Steal Breeze” is a well-proven example of this sought-after model, boasting over a decade of successful Caribbean cruising. In recent years, she has benefited from major upgrades and an impressive array of cruising gear, ensuring reliable and self-sufficient voyaging wherever your journey may lead. Her expertly maintained systems and thoughtful enhancements set her apart as a turnkey cruiser, ideal for those seeking immediate adventure.

Currently on the hard, “Steal Breeze” has just received fresh bottom paint, her topsides have been meticulously waxed, and her deck thoroughly cleaned and serviced in preparation for the 2025 season. She is ready for launch and awaits her next owners to step aboard and set sail on new horizons. With her proven capabilities and recent updates, this Manta 40 is an outstanding opportunity for any serious cruiser.

As with many of the Catamarans she has a large, comfortable main salon that is center of the vessel between the two hulls. The salon opens out to the cockpit and helm area which offers abundant seating, a piped hard top, windshield and can be semi enclosed from harsh weather.

The port hull features the Owner’s suite with private head and separate shower stall. The owner’s master is aft with a queen size fore and aft facing berth. There is a custom shelf over the head of the berth, bedside storage and shelves, reading lights and fans, plus an overhead hatch and port-lights for excellent ventilation.

The center of the hull offers a full-length custom teak bookcase, pantry and linen cabinets with storage. This area is the walk-way between the master stateroom and the master head which is forward.
The master head has an electric marine toilet, holding tank (new sanitation hose in 2018), vanity with countertop sink and faucet, large mirrored medicine cabinet above sink and of course the large separate shower stall. Here too there is good ventilation and light from the overhead hatch.

Next we move to the starboard hull where the guest staterooms and second head is located. The VIP guest stateroom is aft and has an athwartships queen size berth. There is also a settee with storage under, cedar-lined hanging closet, storage drawers and lockers, reading lights, fan, overhead hatch and port-light for added light and ventilation.

Moving forward is the guest head that can be accessed from both guest staterooms. One actually must walk thru the head to the forward guest stateroom. This stateroom offers a double fore and aft berth, settee with water maker controls under, end storage cabinet, large custom tool closet and custom parts storage, Splendide combo washer/dryer, Universal aqua technologies 30 gal/hour water maker and the water heater.

The guests are fortunate to have a large head as well with separate shower stall, new AirHead composting toilet, vanity with sink and faucet, and large mirror with storage cabinet below.

The Salon is the hub of the vessel with a large L-shaped dinette to starboard forward. Entering the vessel on the starboard side one will see the dinette which provides comfortable seating for 6 and there are 2 upholstered ottomans with storage under. She has a large adjustable table for dining or entertaining. Built-in wrap-around storage shelf on the back of the dinette/settee.

To port of the settee are two large chest-style refrigerator and freezer (new compressor and plate in 2016). Creating an L-shape is the stand-up navigation station with electric panel. Aft to port is the U-shaped Sea Galley. This Salon has expansive windows offering unparalleled views and abundant light. She has tinted salon windows with (2) sets of exterior sunscreens and interior covers (2018). Faux teak and holly sole give her warmth and her teal-colored cushions feel like one is already in the islands.

The boat was inspected in August 2025, by a structural engineer to investigate for cracking found on the interior bulkhead corners. The bulkheads are only for creating spaces not as a structural item. The cracking, while rather unsightly, is not a structural defect. Pictures have been included. The boat in and of itself is in good condition and is structurally sound.

The boat is an older model so is not without some defects. The starboard outside forward seat rail has been bent and could use replacement. Rebedding of the rub rail would be a good idea at this point in her history. Replacement of the lifelines with a more modern material is recommended.
