Although Miss Summer is a 2014 model, nothing about this yacht reflects her age. In recent years she has benefited from an exceptional level of refit, renewal, and system upgrades that place her firmly in line with — and in many cases ahead of — much newer boats.
Her most recent survey passed with no recommendations, further underscoring her condition and level of care. At anchor, she delivers silent nights on upgraded electrical systems and can comfortably run air-conditioning overnight without the need for the generator — a rare and highly desirable capability that eliminates noise, fuel burn, and guest disturbance. This level of energy independence is typically found only on much newer, higher-priced yachts.
From upgraded battery and electrical systems and added renewable generation to replaced standing rigging and refreshed upholstery and canvas, all of the major, high-cost ownership items have already been addressed.
