This is not your standard Jeanneau.
Kaimana is a 51′ Yacht Series by Jeanneau. She’s extensively upgraded and optimized for bluewater or coastal cruising, offering both performance and comfort.
This highly equipped yacht boasts a spacious three-cabin, two-head layout with an oversized “VIP” quarter berth and utility for interior storage. She is ready for long passages, single-handed sailing, and luxurious living. She has been meticulously cared for and offers many premium aftermarket upgrades and enhancements.
Kaimana is Ocean Ready and Adventure Proof!
Her current owners purchased her directly from the Jeanneau Yacht Division in France. She was commissioned by SAS in Les Sables d’Olonne in 2018 and equipped from the start for extended offshore cruising.
Designed by Philippe Briand and Andrew Winch, the Jeanneau Yachts 51 combines performance with refined craftsmanship, representing the builder’s premium line that sits above the Sun Odyssey range. While the Sun Odyssey models are designed primarily for coastal and short offshore cruising, the Jeanneau Yachts series is built to a higher specification, using upgraded materials, enhanced joinery, and superior systems throughout. They feature more robust hull structures, greater insulation, refined interiors, and higher-end equipment chosen for comfort during long passages or extended liveaboard use. The Jeanneau Yachts range is also commissioned differently, with closer oversight from the shipyard’s yacht division team in Cholet, France, and more customization options than the production lines.
Kaimana’s interior reflects the quality and finish expected from this division. Finished in light oak with a hand-rubbed open-pore varnish and a dark Milano sole, she has a bright and welcoming atmosphere with ample storage. The leather upholstery, indirect LED lighting, and detailed joinery showcase the elevated standard of the Jeanneau Yacht line.
Her three-cabin layout offers flexibility for both owners and guests. The forward owner’s cabin includes an en suite head, an upgraded queen mattress, and good ventilation. The port-side VIP cabin also has an en suite head, while the starboard quarter berth provides additional double accommodation. The salon table converts to a double berth, allowing sleeping for up to eight when required.
Every aspect of Kaimana reflects careful ownership and thoughtful preparation for serious cruising. Her systems are well maintained, her interior remains clean and inviting, and her sailing history demonstrates proven capability across a wide range of conditions.
Kaimana represents an excellent opportunity to step into a well-equipped and carefully maintained Jeanneau Yachts 51. She offers the comfort, craftsmanship, and offshore reliability that distinguish the Jeanneau Yachts series from the production lines, making her a strong choice for sailors seeking a ready, capable, and beautifully finished yacht for bluewater or liveaboard cruising.
Kaimana is World Cruising Club safety certified. She crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the ARC+ in fall 2024 from Gran Canaria to Cape Verde and on to Grenada. She has up-to-date required safety equipment for ocean passages.
Kaimana is currently cruising the eastern Caribbean and is available for viewings.
