This was the first Island Packet designed by two naval architects, and it was well received when launched. There are numerous improvements in the boat, and this particular boat has been substantially upgraded and improved upon. New mast (not replaced because of damage), new sails, and new electronics, to name just a few. It is a very easily handled boat, and is designed for comfortable and safe cruising and passage-making. The boat shows exceptionally well, and has just been compounded, buffed, and waxed.
