Overview
Watermark is a rare, meticulously maintained example of the legendary Atlantic 42 performance catamaran. Built by the respected Lombardi Yachts, she embodies the Chris White philosophy of speed, safety, and ease of handling.
Unlike many vessels of this vintage, Watermark has undergone a comprehensive refit and continuous upgrade cycle from 2019 through 2025. With new Yanmar engines (2022), updated saildrives, and a complete electronics and power overhaul, she is a turn-key offshore machine. Since 2022, she has been dry-sailed, preserving the hull and machinery in top-tier condition.
Recent Major Refits & Upgrades
Major machinery and propulsion work was completed in 2022, including a repower with new Yanmar engines, saildrive replacement and rebuilds, installation of folding propellers, and extensive maintenance such as new motor mounts, raw water pumps, thermostats, and fuel tank cleaning.
Electrical & Solar
The electrical and solar systems were renewed in 2025 with new house batteries, solar panels, and a high-efficiency charging system; battery charging controls were also updated in 2023.
Sails & Rigging
The sails and rigging have been refreshed and improved in recent years to enhance downwind and performance capabilities.
Electronics & Navigation
The navigation and communication systems have been modernized, including updated instrument systems and communications gear.
Hull & Deck
The hull and deck have received recent maintenance including hull painting (2021), deck painting (2020), bottom stripping and repainting (2021), new zincs and thru-hulls (2020), and an updated rudder design installed in 2020.
Interior & Comfort
The interior has been upgraded for long-range cruising, with a watermaker added in March 2023, sanitary plumbing fully replaced in October 2025, toilets rebuilt in 2023, refinished flooring throughout in 2023, and a rebuilt LP locker in 2023.
