Lilly Pearl is a 1980, 40-foot Ted Hood–designed Bristol Yachts masthead yawl offered for sale. This classic Bristol combines traditional lines and seaworthy engineering with a comfortable cruising interior, reflecting the pedigree and build quality for which Bristol Yachts and Ted Hood are known.
The current owner removed the mizzen mast and associated rigging and has made interior modifications to the salon to suit personal use. All removed equipment and parts—including the mizzen components, standing and running hardware, and other associated fittings—have been retained in storage and are available with the sale. That inventory significantly reduces the effort required to return the boat to its original yawl configuration or to select an alternate rigging plan.
Built for offshore capability and long-term use, the Bristol 40 is noted for a robust hull and a sea-kindly motion that appeals to passagemakers. Typical attributes include a well-laid-out cruising interior, solid construction details, and systems designed for reliability and ease of maintenance. Lilly Pearl presents a strong platform for completion of a refit, restoration to original specification, or thoughtful customization to meet a new owner’s cruising goals.
Serious buyers are invited to request the detailed inventory of stored parts, recent photos, maintenance records, and any available survey information. Viewing by appointment is encouraged to evaluate the boat and discuss options for re-rigging, interior restoration, or other upgrades. Lilly Pearl offers a rare opportunity to own a classic Bristol 40 with much of the original yawl equipment preserved and ready for the next phase of her life afloat.
