Like the Oceanis 58, the Oceanis 50 also features the same sleek coachroof, long side windows, a fully-integrated mainsail arch and all the ergonomic ease of detailed design to make the most of every space.
Another beautiful family cruiser from the Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design team, this is the “fifth generation” of the Oceanis line for Beneteau. The very clever addition of the arch over the cockpit in this iteration of the Oceanis 50 had multiple benefits including providing a sheeting point for the mainsail and in doing so, negating the need for a traveller. It also provided the perfect mounting point for the dodger. The cockpit in the 50 is a brilliant place to entertain. Her high comings provide plenty of support to lean back on and the large centreline folding table has plenty of room for whole family. A hinged “drawbridge” that folds out of the way gives easy access to and from the transom whether you’re swimming or boarding from tender or dock.
Heading below down the gently sloped companionway stairs is safe with plenty of hand grips. Once inside, you are surrounded with beautiful, warm timber and supple leather (Blanc) finishes.
