Boat Description

The 1998 Ocean Alexander 50 Sedan is a motor yacht designed for long-distance cruising with a focus on comfort and fuel efficiency. Ocean Alexander, a Taiwanese yacht builder, is known for its seaworthiness, solid engineering and use of high-quality materials in its yachts.

Boarding Sozo from the aft swim platform, you walk up one of two sets of curved stairs leading to spacious cockpit. Once there, you can go up two more steps to either the starboard or port side decks that leads to the bow. There is a large hatch that opens to the lazarette and engine room, there is also a ladder that leads up to the flybridge.

You enter the salon through a large double sliding door that completely opens the aft end of the salon area. The first thing you notice is the quality of the beautiful teak woodwork and the parkay flooring that extends throughout the entire living area of the boat’s interior. Forward of the salon and two steps up is the well-equipped lower helm to starboard and the open, functional galley to port.

Down six steps is the main companionway that leads to a guest stateroom with queen-sized berth to port, and another guest stateroom with two twin berths to starboard. The roomy guest head is to port and forward of the guest staterooms.

Further down towards the bow you will enter the master stateroom that features a queen-sized island berth with ample storage and four opening port holes that provide plenty of light and ventilation. The master ensuite head is to starboard and features a very nice private space to refresh and get ready for a day cruising.
