Herkee is a non-chartered, converted Lagoon 380 sailing catamaran. Since purchasing her in 2020, the current owners have repowered her with new Yanmar 40hp engines and sail drives, added major solar/lithium power systems, and de-masted her, creating a self-sufficient, “off-the-grid” power catamaran.

Benefits of the de-masting included a lower center of gravity, reducing the crab walk found in rougher conditions on a sailing catamaran, a 13′ air draft, and cleaner decks without any rigging components.
