Layout & Accommodations

The master cabin of the Gemini Legacy 35 is one of the best owners cabins in the sailing industry. A full-queen sized bed with a spectacular view through panoramic windows. The queen-sized bed has been turned athwartship so that access on and off the bed is now at the end as opposed to the side as the previous model Geminis. This means no more climbing over the person sleeping on the outboard side of the bed. Beautifully crafted cabinetry with dressing table and sitting area plus three opening hatches for ample ventilation make this cabin a home away from home. The "owners hull" configuration with the head in the back of the same hull as the master means accessibility, privacy and convenience.
The two crew cabins on the standard layout of the new Gemini Legacy 35 are roomy and spacious with beautiful cabinetry for storage and over 6' of headroom.
With a full standing shower and plenty of cabinet storage the head of the Gemini Legacy 35 is functional, easy to maintain and beautifully appointed.

Galley

Light, bright, open layout, spectacular visibility, comfortable, great headroom...There are just a few of the words that sum up the new Gemini Legacy 35 salon and pilot house.
Easy seating for six around the dinette table with 180' outside views while seated or standing, you can truly enjoy your dinner and drinks despite the weather!
One of the best features of the Gemini salon also continues to be the great airflow. Two large overhead hatches and the sliding windows to the cockpit maximum air flow even in the most stifling condition.
The galley of the Gemini Legacy 35 is, quite frankly enormous. The storage and counter space easily rival that of the 45' monohull and even some 50' catamarans.
A two-burner stove with oven and broiler, a two-sided sink with pull-out spray faucet, a 3.8 cubic foot fridge with freezer, dedicated trash can holder and over 12' of stunning Corian counters make the galley of the Legacy 35 worthy of simply being called a kitchen!
She is equipped with a roomy nav station with lots of storage and a well laid out electrical panel that makes this space extremely functional and beautiful at the same time.

Deck & Equipment

Cockpit and Deck

The cockpit of the Gemini Legacy 35 has been completely redesigned with a graceful, open exceptionally functional design. The layout of the cockpit allows for a sure-footedness and ease of movement that is not found in any sailboat of the same size range.

The curvaceous shape of the steps and swim platforms are a suberb combination with the canopy, the captain and crew have protection from extreme weather and harsh sun.

The new, expanded pilot house means 360 degrees visibility while at the same time, combined with the canopy, the captain and crew have protection from extreme weather and harsh sun.

The multilevel layout of the cockpit, common to all previous Gemini models, but significantly enhanced on the Legacy, means choice and versatility, whatever your sailing preferences are; sit up on the top level and feel the wind in your face or keep out of the sun and simply enjoy the view! All lines run to the helm and the main sheet track on top of the canopy also means this cockpit is clean and uncluttered.

The fore and side decks of the new Gemini 35 are clean, safe, uncluttered and very easy to ease whether you are going forward or just relaxing in the sun or on the bow seats.

The profile of the Gemini deck is designed to maximize both form and function. The three levels of the deck; starting with the foredeck and moving up to the cabin top then to the pilot house, all work to create a sleek profile and keep the center of effort low. This low profile not only looks great but also contributes greatly towards the lack of heeling.
A large sail locker and anchor locker that houses the windlass, a bow roller and two bow seats make the foredeck an exceptionally functional and, at the same time, relaxing place to be.

Sails & Rigging

The rig of the Gemini Legacy 35 takes advantage of the most advanced technology available in cruising catamarans today. The swept back spreaders mean strength and safety without all the clutter and additional hardware of a backstay. Eliminating the backstay also allows for a square top mainsail that puts more sail area at the top of the mast. This is where the cleanest, purest wind blows: uninhibited by objects on the water or on the boat itself, so performance is maximized in every condition.
