Sweet Chill a Lagoon 440 catamaran continues to be one of the most popular cruising catamarans in the world, providing plenty of space for living and comfortable sailing. You and your guests will love the fly-bridge design, making the Lagoon 440 a perfect cruising platform. By incorporating a raised helmsman position, where the wheel is on the centerline and all sheets run to a central position you’re able to see sail trim clearly. There is excellent visibility for navigating when docking in tight situations giving you convenience, while at the same time the cockpit is opened up to make it a true lounging/dining area. A chart plotter at the helm adds to the convenience. The flybridge of this Lagoon 440 catamaran has a custom hardtop bimini that ensures protection from the hot sun. An additional custom bench seat allows for more guests to enjoy the flybridge. There is a forward v-berth, and the salon makes into a berth with a custom cushion
The aft cockpit is huge,it flows dynamically into the interior space of the saloon so you have an indoor-outdoor living space. The aft cockpit has a wet bar and sink. The large dining table can either be set in the saloon or in the cockpit. It can also be stowed in a cleverly designed locker built in the bimini top. The spacious aft cockpit is protected under a rigid bimini top. Passage to and from the saloon and galley is unhampered.
The saloon provides a 360° panoramic view. The saloon on the Lagoon 440 is a superb living/dining space. The light oak Alpi woodwork and the laminated wenge floor give a modern and relaxing feel. The large L-shaped galley faces the cockpit and has a sliding pass through window.
In this owner's version, the entire starboard hull is transformed into a luxury suite incorporating the aft cabin, a sofa, a desk, a separate hanging locker, a bathroom with separate shower, cupboards, plenty of drawers and lockers.
In the port hull, you will find two guest cabins, each with its own head and shower. You will always have plenty of natural light below decks and interior spaces will feel bright and airy. Optimal cabin ventilation is assured by numerous opening portholes and hatches. Once aboard you will notice the ample headroom in the salon and in the cabins of both hulls.
Sweet Chill also features additional items for your comfort, including but not limited to:
• Air conditioning and Generator
• All-electric heads
• Raymarine E120W hybrid chartplotters (2)
On deck there is plenty of space to stow your gear, as well as water toys like kayaks and stand up paddle boards. The water tanks aboard hold 240 gallons so you will always have plenty of fresh water for afternoon showers. The anchoring systems are simple and robust so you are able to set the hook with ease. The sailing rig offers plenty of power for a cruising boat so the 440 will sail happily at 8 to 10 knots in a good breeze.
