Cockpit:
The vessel has a large cockpit with outside dining and seating for eight passengers. There is a protective hard top Bimini with Sunbrella/Eisenglass enclosure. The helm is to starboard. The aft section is open allowing for ample drainage. Port and starboard fiberglass steps lead down from the cockpit to swim platforms. A storage compartment is located to port and the propane tank storage is located to starboard behind the helm station and vents directly overboard. New outdoor cooking area aft amidships with (4) Windy Nation solar panels mounted above area, large cutting board area, single faucet with stainless steel sink with I-lot Shot wash down pump (model 82505- 0092), BBQ grill mounted aft rail to starboard.
The vessel has a saloon on the main deck and port and staterooms and heads on the lower levels of the port and starboard hulls. There is central air conditioning along with a central vacuuming system.

The sloop rig has a single set of spreaders, intermediate shrouds and not backstays. The spars arc unfinished aluminum and the mast is stepped on deck.
Masts/Booms Construction: Sparcraft unfinished aluminum with internal halyards and external sail tracks and Antal sail cars. The mast is stepped on deck using ½" aluminum step supported by a 1" x 6" compression post. There is a Sea Craft hydraulic boom vang and jiffy reefing.
Winches: (2) Harken #46 starboard helm station, (2) Harken 2-speed #40-Power Ratio port/starboard mast, self tailing, and a single winch handle in a holder on the mast

Additional Information

UPGRADES

Upgrades include repowering the vessel in 2013 with twin Yanmar model 3YM30 diesel engines and Yanmar model SD 20 sail drives. A custom fabricated outdoor cooking station was added in the cockpit aft the width of the transom and new solar panels were installed above mounted on a tubular aluminum arch connected to the hard top. Other upgrades included the installation of new batteries and upgrading the electronic equipment with the addition of a Garmin 5212 OPS/Map. The owner also installed a Spectra model 2534 watermaker in January 2014. The vessel carries a tender and outboard motor mounted on davits.

Boat Description

Miss Q 2005 charter version Leopard 40 catamaran for sale was designed for offshore cruising emphasizing performance while not sacrificing accommodations. All sail tending lines lead aft to the cockpit and the decks are wide and uncluttered allowing for easy passage fore and aft. The large, cruising cockpit is protected by a hard top with an Eisenglas windshield and Sunbrella enclosure. Miss Q had many upgrades in 2013.
