The Island Spirit design offers excellent cockpit and saloon room with the galley up. The saloon settee is L shaped allowing easy access to and from the seating area. There are four double size cabins and two heads. There is plenty of storage space above and below deck. The large cockpit area and wide transoms allow comfort and safety at sea or at anchor. The deck layout provides easy access to equipment and for sail handling. There is extra seating provided for and aft on deck. S/V Catbaloo is a 2003, 40ft Island Spirit. These catamarans were designed by Phil Southwell and built by Fortuna Catamarans in Cape Town South Africa. These boats are known to be built well, are robust and this boat has made at least 2 Atlantic crossings. This one is a 4 cabin version in nice condition, but requiring some cosmetic tidying. It is priced very aggressively reflecting the owners desire to make a very quick sale.
