We had a great sail averaging 7 knots to Jost Van Dyke today. First we went to the bubbly pools! If you don’t mind walking past the dump, which is filled with everything Irma left behind, and a little adventurous hike I’d say squeeze it in the to do list. The path has not been cleared, but isn’t horrible. Just push through the uprooted mangroves. We have a massive northern swell right now so it was really cool. After that we checked out what was left of Foxy’s. It is gut wrenching to think of all that was lost. Spent the night on the mooring balls in Great Harbor. If you go ashore to get a painkiller take bug spray. The noseeums are bad here. Foxys is up and running, dinnner doesn’t start until 6:00pm.
