You will find intimacy and independence below deck in one of four air-conditioned cabins, each equipped with it's own bathroom. The air-conditioned salon is large and luminous, and provides you with a cool and relaxing area with a beautiful panoramic view. You'll sunbathe on the wide deck and have drinks and tropical lunches and dinners in the large cockpit. Muscade's is well equipped for various nautical activities such as water-skiing, sail boarding, diving and more! |

Christian Dumortier - Captain Cathy Dumortier - Chef/Hostess Christian was born in Roubaix, France, where he served in the French Army as the driver of a troop transport vehicle. His love of sailing began in 1969 when he became a sailing instructor at a teenage sailing club. For ten years he sailed mono and multi-hulls on a regular basis and in ‘79 he became in charge of managing a Gallian 13 motorsailor. During this time he also became a representative for NESTLE food corporation, and helped create and develop a nonfood product folio for all the supermarkets in the North of France. In 1989 he began living/sailing aboard an Espace 1000 when he sailed the Atlantic and Mediterranean. In 1991 he finally settled down as a freelance skipper in the Caribbean where he learned all the hot spots, and had the opportunity to sail a wide variety of different vessels. Christian enjoys all nautical sports, chess, parasailing and underwater filming. Cathy, born in Paris, began her career studying law, accounting and afterwards the English and Spanish languages. |

She then migrated to St. Tropez where she became in charge of customer service at the Byblos hotel. A few years later she found herself taking groups of V.I.P.’s on private tours to Florida, and then as head of reservation and reception at Le Grande Hotel in St. Martin. Cathy has obviously had many years of practice in service industry. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French and she enjoys watersports, yoga, tennis and the theater. Since 1993 Cathy has been working with Christian and they have honed their skills as a charter crew to a sharp edge. Christian & Cathy are looking forward to sharing their love of the sea with you aboard Muscade. |
