Captain Emmanuel Barrois

Emmanuel Barrois is 37 years of age and hails from France. He started sailing at the age of 14 and from that day on he felt destined to be involved in the sailing world. While living in France he earned a degree in Law and a diploma in tourism. Like many Europeans, Emmanuel is fluent in French, English and Spanish. Being a sailor, he traveled the world aboard ADELIE - an 80 ft. Vaton. The cruise ended in beautiful Guadeloupe where his commitment in yachting really began.

Besides doing numerous yacht deliveries from the Caribbean to France to Spain, he has worked as a charter captain aboard numerous charter yachts. Emmanuel has a passion for yacht racing. He has done many race circuits that have taken him throughout the West Indies. Some of the Regattas include Antigua Race Week, the Kort Series (British Virgins and U.S, Islands) and Heineken Regatta (Leewards). His practical sailing experience, knowledge of the local hotspots and the best anchorages makes him an ideal charter captain aboard the catamaran Jo. Jo is based in Guadeloupe but will charter throughout the Caribbean. Choose between the Leeward, Windward or the Virgin Islands.
