Pesket An Eol - Outremer 55
Pesket Under Sail

Pesket An Eol means "Fish from the Sun" in the Gaelic language. Built in the south of France to her owners specifications, the Outremer 55 catamaran, Pesket An Eol has been cruising the world in style since she was launched in 1996. From the Mediterranean to the Philippines via the Red Sea, Thailand & the Maldives, she visited every possible diving paradise in these parts of the world before maker her way into the crystal clear Caribbean waters

Decorated in the most sophisticated way in Chinese and French styles, Pesket An Eol offers traces of both cultures throughout. From Chinese antiques and Ceramics which grace the boats interior to the lavish full length bathtub allowing you a direct view of the ocean, everything on board is a reminder of her voyage to the East and a tribute to comfort and sophistication.

With a deck area in excess of 1,000 sq. ft., Pesket An Eol truly offers plenty of room for you to relax or enjoy reading a book form the extensive library on the oversized twin trampolines or in the cozy cockpit while listening to your favorite CD on the state of the art stereo system.

For the more adventurous, the skipper will be pleased to show you "the ropes" and let you handle the wheel while Pesket An Eol gently glides under her colorful spinnaker taking you from paradise to...paradise while your hostess serves your favorite cocktails and snacks.

Gavin & ZoeGavin Bladen and Zoe Humber are a delightful young couple, enthusiastic and energetic, and ideally suited to Pesket An Eol. Gavin is a born and bred Yorkshireman, and lived his early life about as far away from the sea as it is possible to get in England. But as with many Brits, he soon found that the sea ran through his veins. Whilst traveling in Australia, he took to SCUBA diving, trained to be a Dive Master, and spent a year working on the Great Barrier Reef. Qualifying as a PADI Diving Instructor in a cold, murky quarry back in England, only strengthened Gavin’s determination to ply his trade in warmer waters, and he moved to the Caribbean in 1995.

After working on a number of charter yachts, Gavin spent two years on the trimaran Cuan Law during which time he qualified for his RYA Yachtmaster’s Certificate, and became Relief Captain. Gavin not only brings to Pesket An Eol a depth of knowledge of the Caribbean, but as a Diving Instructor he can show Guests the “hidden pleasures” of the area - the beautiful reefs and underwater life of the Tropics. For experienced divers, Gavin knows the best spots to explore. For learners or beginners, he can take you from the initial “Resort Course” right through to the Advanced Certificate. For the non-divers, Gavin is equally competent and enthusiastic to help you with any and all of the wide range of water sports equipment on Pesket An Eol.

Zoe was born in Oxfordshire, England, growing up in the hospitality/catering industry on the family farm, helping to run the family holiday cottage, and bed and breakfast business in Somerset. After attending the Universities of Manchester, England and Bourgogne, France, Zoe joined Gavin on Cuan Law where her culinary skills and hospitality background, as well as her languages, proved invaluable. Like Gavin, Zoe is a water sports enthusiast and is qualified as a PADI Advanced Diver, she loves to travel and is a good linguist - her French is fluent, her German is good and she is learning Spanish.

Between them, Gavin and Zoe have all the necessary attributes to make great hosts, and they will take pleasure in ensuring that your stay aboard Pesket An Eol will be an unforgettable experience.
