FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, 9/16/2021 - After several months of evaluations at the end of July 2021, Staley Weidman III (CPYB) CEO of The Catamaran company Ft. Lauderdale, FL., concluded negotiations and order confirmation for their United States-based client for a new Sunreef 80 Power Eco catamaran. It is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2022 and will be exhibited at the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show in Fall 2023.
The two companies have worked closely together over the last 15 years to realize the construction of numerous sail and power catamarans. Most notably the collaboration to build the first Sunreef 74 "Wildberry" in 2014 and the Sunreef 80 sailing "Endless Horizon" the largest and most expensive yacht exhibited at the 2020 Miami International Boat Show. The 80 Power Eco catamaran project is the third Sunreef 80 that has been contracted by The Catamaran company with Sunreef Yachts of Poland.
The 80 Sunreef Eco will be constructed at Sunreef's new state-of-the-art production facility in Gdansk, Poland. Construction starts November 2021. It is scheduled to be completed in Summer 2022 and will be exhibited at the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show in Fall 2023.
