FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP PROGRAM

The Catamaran Company has developed an innovative fractional yacht program that provides you with a financially savvy solution. You can experience all the benefits of yacht ownership without the hassles of staffing, maintaining, or servicing your yacht, and operating costs are largely covered by charter revenue.

If you are renting a catamaran every year in the BVI and have always preferred to own a catamaran but found the rental price tag a bit hefty, then our fractional yacht ownership or yacht share is a great way to own a boat and save on yearly charter rental fees.

Simply put, Fractional Yacht ownership is buying a fraction of the 100% ownership of a given Yacht. We’re offering a limited number of units in 10% increments.

These are some of the benefits offered by this program:

  1. Tax Benefits
    There are numerous tax benefits, and you get to charter without having to pay rental fees.
  2. Guaranteed Equal Time
    We limit the number of available shares in the program. That way all owners are guaranteed to get equal time.
  3. Direct ownership
    Because owners of fractional shares involve direct ownership, each user has greater control over how the boat is used and maintained and where it is located.
  4. Operating costs
    Operating costs are covered to a large degree by charter revenue in this charter program. The annual operating costs such as insurance, dockage, annual haul out, and scheduled maintenance are largely covered by income from chartering the yacht.
  5. Traditional yacht ownership
    With traditional yacht ownership, the owner spends around 10 percent of the total value of the yacht annually but with our model based on five years, one can save up to 90 percent of the cost of traditional yacht ownership.
