My name is Hugh Murray and I have been heading up The Catamaran Company since May, 1996.

I have been involved in the Marine Industry since 1986, when I was the Chief Financial Officer for Stevens Yachts. In 1990 I became the President of Sunsail USA with responsibility for the US and Caribbean Operations. Then in 1996 I became the President of The Catamaran Company, which at that time was called Catamaran Charters and Sales.

The company has two main functions and businesses, namely operating catamaran charters out of our charter base in Tortola, BVI and the retail of new and used catamarans from our offices in Ft Lauderdale, FL.

The Catamaran Company is currently the world’s largest new catamaran dealer but is also the world’s largest retailer of used catamarans, achieving sales of over 100 used catamarans on an annualized basis over the last 3 years. We have achieved the honored distinction of being the Lagoon World Dealer of the Year for the past five years and now, once again, for 2008!
