During their participation in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers), Lagoon was given the opportunity to remedy that image by leading the catamaran class in the ARC.

The ARC is roughly a 2,700 nautical mile passage on the N.E. tradewind route from Las Palmas on Grande Canaria to Rodney Bay in St. Lucia and takes an average between 12 and 24 days.
