One excellent way of reducing the work and cost of owning a yacht is to put your yacht in a charter fleet. Income on the yacht combined with the tax savings realized by running it as a small business reduce the cost substantially.

Tip: A recent survey showed that the average boat owner spends about 30-33 days per year on his/her yacht. For the rest of the time the yacht sits in the marina. If you take the cost of the yacht and its upkeep and divide by the days used it becomes costly indeed. |
