The PowerPlay range of catamarans are proven and built in Australia.

The main design-trait shared amongst models offered by larger, European builders in comparison to an Australian or New Zealand well-established but smaller company, such as Powerplay, is the semi-displacement hull form.

From there, the Aussie's attitude and approach in styling takes a different, but practical turn. PowerPlay's models are an ingenious example of a cruising power cat that is more of a Sport Fish/Convertible Sedan providing much higher bridge deck clearance, more voluminous hulls and freeboard, in addition to a cockpit and aft deck area that absolutely screams dedication to water sport enthusiasts.

The American economy is slowly getting better, while the Euro is slowly getting stronger to the dollar, which means that new boats built in Europe, and else where, are only going to cost the American buyer more dollars in the future. Also, with new boats getting more expensive, meaning that the replacement cost of existing preowned boats will get more expensive, translates that in the future asking prices of preowned boats will only increase to reflect cost of replacement.
