Lagoon 500

2005 Production Sold Out! Mid-2006 Available Now.

The Lagoon 500 is the newest design by world-renowned naval architects Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prevost, who have won a record number of awards for catamaran designs (in 2004, boats they designed won four first places in the famous Transat race). In December I visited Lagoon's custom boat-building yard in Bordeaux and saw first-hand the advanced design that will be a hallmark of the new 500.

Privilege 395-E

Premiering at Miami Boat Show, February 17th - 21st 2005.

If luxury, high-end fit and finish is important, this is the yacht for you. This is the first Privilege 395 in the United States and it is the first Privilege built with Solomon Electric Motor Technology, featuring a newly designed 144-volt DC generator. In December I visited this yacht in production at the factory in Les Sables d'Olonne, France, I can say this is the most luxurious sailing catamaran in the 40ft. range built today.

I recently visited the Privilege 495 on display at the Paris Boat Show. I recently saw the Privilege Transcat 48 at the factory in Les Sables d'Olonne, France.
