NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW, SEPTEMBER 15-18, 2005

Welcome To The 35th Annual Newport Boat Show!

The 35th Annual Newport International Boat Show will feature new sailboats and powerboats, and thousands of products and services from both domestic and international exhibitors.

Multiple waterfront facilities along America's Cup Avenue and Thames Street host the Show including Newport Yachting Center, Oldport Marine and Bannister's Wharf, which are all connected by show docks.

Their newest expansion, Bowen's Wharf, will showcase downeast-style boats. Bowen's Wharf is centrally located within other show sites including Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina, which hosts the Passagemaker TrawlerPort Program and also showcases center-console boats on land. All Show sites are "connected" by FREE water taxis.

Catamaran fanatics and newcomers to this class of boats will have the opportunity to discover or re-discover the Lagoon range of catamarans. On display this year will be a Lagoon 380-S2, Lagoon 440, and fabulous Lagoon Power 43.

'05 Adult Tickets at the Show

.	Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 VIP Day $16 per person Children under 12 FREE with an adult.* *Does not apply to Thursday.

Advance Ticket Sales

.	Thursday, Sept. 15 is VIP Day. All tickets $20, NO DISCOUNT RATE. All other days see below: Advance One Day Ticket - $12 - $1 handling fee applies

Resident's & Military Day

.	Friday, September 16, 2005. Admission is half price. Children under 12 are free. Must show proof of Newport residency with driver's license or other picture ID.

2005 Group Tickets

.	Group tickets will go on sale July 1 and can only be purchased by calling 401-846-1115 ext. 215.

Visitor Information

Newport is one of the nation's most scenic areas to visit. Winding lanes along the world famous Ocean Drive leads you past magnificent mansions, old country stores, a bird sanctuary, fanciful topiary gardens, wineries, and tiny fishing coves.

Parking

Take the last Jamestown exit right before the Newport Bridge toll booth. At bottom of exit go left. You will immediately see the Police Station on your left. (Golf Course across the street). Take a left onto the paved road right before the Police Station. Signs will be posted. Shuttle buses are free. Express ferry offered during the show from Jamestown to Newport. .	A Lagoon 380-S2, Lagoon 440, and a Lagoon Power 43 are already confirmed for the show. In mega catamaran news, the fabulous Yapluka 70, appropriately named 'Wonderful', will be available to board as well. Staley Weidman will be present to help you navigate the selling features of these incredible models.
