34th ANNUAL NEWPORT INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
Calling All Prospective Buyers!
This year we celebrate the 34th Annual Newport International Boat Show, a real gem among the boat shows of the world.

As always, The Catamaran Company invites you to stop by our booth at the show. We always enjoy meeting customers and getting re-acquainted with old friends. Featured among the assortment of waterfront venues, this year we are promoting the Lagoon 380, 410 and Powercat 43. Specialized sailing clinics by the Discover Sailing association will be available in addition to the thousands of products and services from both domestic and international exhibitors on display. Fun to be had by everyone, you may need more than one day to experience it all!

Along America’s Cup Avenue and Thames Street: Newport Yacht Center, Oldport Marine, and Bannister’s Wharf, in addition to one of their newest locations: The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina. Free water taxis between locations have been arranged.

DATE & TICKET INFO:

Thursday-Sunday, Sept. 16-19, 2004 from 10:00am-6:00pm daily. VIP Day tickets (Thursday, Sept. 16th only) are $20. Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1-Day tickets are going for $16, and the 2-Day tickets for $28. Advanced tickets are available.

You'll find the Lagoon 380, 440, and Power Cat 43 on display at our booth for your convenience. There are also many free seminars available to take part in, including: Boat Show Classroom, Discover Sailing Program, PassageMaker and TrawlerPort Program.

AROUND NEWPORT:

Newport is one of the nation's most scenic areas to visit. Winding lanes along the world famous Ocean Drive leads you past magnificent mansions, old country stores, a bird sanctuary, fanciful topiary gardens, wineries, and tiny fishing coves.

DIRECTIONS:

From New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Points South:
Take Interstate 95 North to Route 138 East - Exit 3 around Hope Valley, RI. Continue on Route 138 to Newport Bridge ($2.00 toll). Take first exit off Newport Bridge (Scenic Newport) turn right off exit ramp and drive straight through 1st set of traffic lights. At 2nd set of lights turn right onto America’s Cup Avenue. Follow America’s Cup through 4 sets of traffic lights and the Newport Yachting Center will be on your right.
* Continue past the Newport Yachting Center on America's Cup Ave. (up slight hill), which turns into Memorial Blvd. Follow to Easton's Beach parking lot approximately 1 mile away. Our free shuttle will bring you back to the show.

New and Convenient Parking Area!
For those traveling from I-95 North or South toward the Newport Bridge, we now have a parking lot in Jamestown, Rhode Island. It is competitively- priced paid parking with complimentary Shuttle Bus service to the show entrance. The Shuttle will loop continuously from 8:00am to 8:00pm all four days of the show. Directions to the Parking Lot are below.

Jamestown Parking Lot: Take the last Jamestown exit right before the Newport Bridge toll booth. At bottom of exit go left. You will immediately see the Police Station on your left. (Golf Course across the street). Take a left onto the paved road right before the Police Station. Signs will be posted. Shuttles buses are free.

You can park at Easton's Beach in Newport- see directions above in red.

From Cape Cod and Points East:
Take 195 West to Fall River. Take exit for Newport/Route 24 South. Follow Route 24 South, which turns into Route 114. Follow Route 114 into Newport. Approximately one mile from city line, just past Newport City Hall, turn right onto Marlborough Street. Proceed to the traffic light on America’s Cup Avenue and take a left. Follow through 2 traffic lights. After the second light, the Newport Yachting Center will be on your right.

From Boston:
Take Interstate 93 South out of Boston to Route 24 South. Take exit for Newport/Route 24 South. Follow Route 24 South, which turns into Route 114. Follow Route 114 into Newport. Approximately one mile from city line, just past Newport City Hall, turns right onto Marlborough Street. Proceed to the traffic light on America’s Cup Avenue and take a left. Follow through 2 traffic lights. After the second light, the Newport Yachting Center will be on your right.

From Points North and Northwest:
Take Route 95 South. At the split of 95 South, about 10 miles south of Providence, Rhode Island, get into the two left lanes toward Route 4 South (North Kingstown, East Greenwich) at exit 9. Route 4 South merges into Route 1 South after the second traffic light. From Route 1 South take the exit for the Jamestown/Newport Bridges which leads to Route 138 East. The Jamestown Bridge leads to the Newport Bridge ($2.00 toll). Take the first exit off the Newport Bridge (Scenic Newport) and take a right at the end of the exit ramp and drive straight through first set of traffic lights. At the second traffic light take a right onto America's Cup Avenue. Follow America’s Cup through 4 sets of traffic lights and the Yachting Center will be on your right.
