Norman Island is said to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island". Appropriately enough it is also the home of Bucaneer's Bay. It's a beautiful little bay with a small beach and some sheer rock cliffs nearby. There is good snorkeling with a proliferation of tropical fish and coral. Mooring balls area available for around $20 to$25 a night helping you sleep easy knowing your anchor hasn't dragged and set you out to sea and that you hadn't damaged the unique ecological environment by dropping a big piece of steel on it. Norman Island is uninhabited unless you count goats as population, but it does have two restaurants.
