Born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay of Annapolis, Maryland, I fell in love with the water at an early age.  I quickly learned what a privilege it is to have grown up here, where it is not uncommon to travel almost anywhere by boat (including school).  Residing in Annapolis, "The Sailing Capital of the World", it is almost impossible not to get hooked on sailing. Having spent the majority of my time on the water in power boats of various sizes, my first sailing experience was memorable.  I quickly realized the appeal; sailing is not about rushing from one destination to the next, but rather it is about enjoying the journey. 

It is no surprise that I ended up working in the charter industry where I continue to experience and learn more about sailing on a daily basis, and make a living off doing it.  Having spent almost three years working for Sunsail, booking both monohulls and catamarans in North America, the Caribbean, Meditteranean, South Pacific and Indian Ocean, I realized the marine industry was the working environment I wanted to be a part of.  During my time in the charter industry, I have been able to experience the joy of chartering in the Caribbean first hand, receive my bareboat certification in BVI, and live vicariously through the people I speak with while helping them to plan their dream vacations.  I have now developed quite a long list of destinations that I can't wait to cruise next.
