Carol enjoys imparting her love and knowledge of sailing. Entering the marine industry as a yacht broker was one way she could do this, as well as enthusiastically finding the right boat to suit her clients. She takes a personal interest in this, and experiences great satisfaction when the two come together. The follow-on is that clients become friends.
In South Africa, Carol owned and operated a landscape and garden service business for 20 years, and whilst cruising, has managed an Internet Cafe, sewn hurricane protection nets, worked a resort activity desk selling catamaran trips, etc., and crewed as a hostess on the catamaran 'Celine'. Into all of these activities she brought her enthusiasm, energy and love of dealing with people.

We are very pleased with the boat, we made the voyage up to Jacksonville and my sisters house with ease. So we now have plans to put in a second diesel and to completely refit to a 'luxury standard'. I so much enjoyed meeting you and at least doing a little sailing with you. Wow, it was so impressive that you would drive 400 miles just to be there for a survey. That is customer service and that is what our company is all about. You know, I found many years ago that it does not matter what the product or service is you sell it is the customer support that is provided that makes all the difference in closing a sale and repeat business. Carol: I had intended to write to you before this, but I was sidetracked to have some scheduled surgery. I'm pleased to report success and recuperating to good health. On my return, Rene and I looked at our beautiful Hunter 380 sitting at our dock awaiting her next cruise with her new owners (by the way, we have renamed her Rosebud 11). We both agreed that she was there, in large part, to Carol Robinson. We have bought and sold many boats over the years and worked with many brokers -- Carol, you are the BEST, you are #One. Your attention to detail, your constant follow-up, always making yourself available (even when you were on vacation in South Africa), to take care of any questions no matter how large or small!
