Does The Catamaran Company collect cookies?

Is there any other technology similar to cookies that may be used?

Web beacons, clear GIFs, page tags and web bugs

These are all terms used to describe a particular form of technology implemented by many sites in order to help them understand and analyse how the site is being used and to the extent we use this technology it is solely used to improve your experience on the website. Does The Catamaran Company track my visits?

We collect anonymous information about every visit to our site by tracking Internet Protocol (IP) addresses on an aggregate basis, including information about which areas of our site receive the most visits and user’s visit history. This is done by the placement of a cookie on your computer. We do not link IP addresses to personal information associated with a particular visitor. We use this information only to determine how to make future visits more convenient and productive site users. How is email used on The Catamaran Company?

Email is used to respond to inquiries initiated by you. We collect email addresses from those who contact us via email, and ask for information such as your email address and name when you inquire and sign up to receive information from us. How we respond to Do Not Track settings

California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b)(as amended effective January 1, 2014) provides that California residents are entitled to know how a website operator responds to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser settings. DNT is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked, such as by third party ad networks, social networks and analytic companies. However, a uniform standard has not yet been adopted to determine how these signals should be interpreted and what actions should be taken by websites and third parties.

At the present time, we do not respond to DNT signals. We will continue to review DNT and other technologies and may adopt a DNT standard once available.
