Description
The main salon is large with a chart table facing forward adjacent to salon seating for fun social activities. The galley is up and adjacent to the cockpit with a pass-through serving counter.
Large double fridge draw system with an easy glide out access. Above the fridge is a large front loading freezer.
Other features include a double sink, 3 burner stovetop, and an oven. Lighting incorporates energy-efficient LED lights.
This Maestro version comprises a spacious owner’s suite with an exclusive ensuite, as well as two guest cabins that feature their own private bathrooms. In the owner's suite, forward is the bathroom area that features a large shower room (110 x 85cm) with a separate head.
Moving aft there’s a spacious dressing area with masses of storage and hanging space that leads seamlessly through to an elegant bedroom with a desk/dressing table and an impressive island bed that measures 1.5 x 2m with an aft-facing panoramic window above.
On the port side, the aft cabin boasts a large walk-around island double berth with plenty of storage and hanging lockers. The forward cabin offers a double berth, large hanging locker, and panoramic views from the large porthole. Each cabin has a private bathroom sink vanity area, shower and electric head.
LUCIA 40 – ON DECK
Outside on deck, there are several different seating areas including a large cockpit. Seating of up to eight guests is easily accommodated around the dining table.
A long settee is designed across the transom that is great for entertaining and comfort while at sea. The chaise lounge is across from the table.
Additional features include hatches in the sides of the hulls for each cabin, flush deck hatches, a foredeck lounge area, and a newly fitted trampoline that does not leave any gaps between it and the two hulls.
All controls lead back to the control cockpit which is at deck level facilitating a couple easily handling and docking the boat with the helmsman a step away from the deck to help with docking maneuvers.
The control cockpit is adjacent to, and open to the main cockpit for easy communication, and passing refreshments to the helmsman.
There is a forward foredeck lounge area, and a comfortable trampoline to lie on. Large storage lockers are located in the front of each hull. The decks are wide and flat with all flush hatches.
The Lucia 40 is a true stand out in her class. No other sailing catamaran of her size has the fabulous living space of the Lucia 40, which includes a luminous salon, generous cabins, expansive 12m2 cockpit, and a decadent lounge area on the bow that spans more than 3m2!
